Han Sen could tell it was the peacock. It had been stung in the face by the wasp, and it had flown away. Han Sen did not expect to see it here again.
"Its chirping sounds painful and tragic. Is the poison acting up?" Queen looked in the direction of the bird's chirping, and her eyes lit up.
If the poison was acting up, this might be the closest they had ever been to slaying a super creature.
"Let's go take a look."
Han Sen was excited, too. If they could slay a super creature, even if they didn't receive a beast soul, they'd still be happy to eat its meat.
The two of them looked at each other and understood each other's intentions. Queen immediately commanded the whale to fly in the direction of the bird's chirping.
The sound of the bird reached the clouds, and it sounded like it was capable of breaking stone. The creatures nearby seemed to be frightened, and even the ones in the sky started to fly away.
After traveling for forty miles, Han Sen finally saw an island. It was small, and it was more of a reef than an island.
The peacock had landed on the reef, and its face was festered beyond recognition. It was covered in blisters and bleeding wounds.
"The poison is acting up!" Han Sen was pleasantly surprised.
He was happy because the peacock seemed to be unable to resist the poison of the wasp, but he was also shocked because the poison was so strong. Even if they killed the peacock, they didn't know if they could still eat its meat.
Queen commanded the whale to stop a distance away. They did not go over to the peacock. Even if it was a poisoned super creature, they might not be able to kill it. They did not know how the peacock was doing, and if they went over, they might get themselves killed.
"Listening to its chirping, it seems to be quite strong. Let's wait here for a few more days." Han Sen was thinking the same thing.
Rather than take the risk now, it would be better to wait for the poison to worsen.
But as soon as Han Sen finished speaking, he saw a ten-meter-tall wave rise from the sea near the reef. A giant purple creature emerged from the sea. Its pincers were like iron, and it went for the peacock with lightning speed.
The purple lobster had come out of the sea, and it did not seem to have been able to gain anything from the island. Now, it wanted to kill the poisoned peacock.
The poison was on the peacock's face, and it seemed to have affected its brain. By the time it reacted, it was too late. The lobster had already clamped down on one of its wings.
The peacock wanted to shake off the lobster, but it could not. It flapped its wings, but many of its feathers were broken.
The peacock was enraged. The feathers on its back opened, and its blue eyes opened, shooting out a strange blue light. It was dazzling. The lobster looked like it was drunk, and it couldn't stand still.
But the lobster seemed to know this was going to happen. It clamped down on the peacock's wing, and no matter how hard the peacock tried to beat it, it could not escape.
The lobster's shell was too hard, and the peacock could not do anything to it. But the peacock's wing was bleeding profusely, and many of its feathers were broken.
Looking at the two terrifying creatures wrestling together, Queen had already closed her eyes and turned her back, not daring to look at the blue light.
Although they were far away, the power of the peacock's blue light was still there. Just looking at it was enough to make one dizzy and almost fall into the sea.
Han Sen did the same thing, but after he unlocked his gene lock, he was able to see the two super creatures fight with his back facing them. He wasn't affected by the battle at all.
"The peacock's power is still strong, but it has been poisoned, and the lobster is so close to it. It looks like it is going to die sooner or later." Han Sen thought to himself, wondering how he could get something good out of this.
The reef started to crack, and the waves started to rise.
The huge reef couldn't withstand the ravaging of the two ferocious beasts. Large chunks of rock cracked, and it looked like it was about to collapse completely.
The lobster relied on its hard shell to drag the peacock into the water with its pincers. It didn't care about the peacock pecking at it.
Although the peacock was struggling, it was only a matter of time before it was dragged into the water.
"Why isn't the lobster poisoned as well?" Han Sen was depressed.
However, looking at the fighting strength that the peacock displayed, if they had rushed up recklessly just now, they would not have been able to return.
Boom!
After three hours, the reef finally broke. The peacock was dragged into the sea by the lobster.
Although the peacock still shone with a blue light, it was not as strong as it used to be. It did not suppress Han Sen and Queen as much as it used to.
Only then did the Empress turn around and look into the sea, yet she saw a blue light flickering below. The sea water surged violently, setting off vicious waves that were dozens of feet high. The momentum was extremely frightening.
"Such a scary creature. It is too difficult for us humans to kill it." Queen sighed.
"If we kill them ourselves, we won't be able to do it. But this is our chance." Han Sen looked at the evil wave with greed in his eyes.
Even if it was a poisoned peacock, it wasn't something they could kill. But now, the peacock was being dragged deeper and deeper into the sea by the lobster. It didn't look like it was going to survive. Perhaps they could take advantage of the situation.
Han Sen did not dare steal the peacock's meat from the lobster. He did not have the power to do so, either.
But he was just taking advantage of the situation. Maybe he could get the beast soul.
"What do you want to do?" Queen frowned and looked at Han Sen.
"Wait for me," Han Sen said. Then, he jumped into the water and dove into the sea.
The Silver Fox was on Han Sen's shoulder, and it held onto Han Sen's neck with its claws. It followed Han Sen into the sea.
Because the two beasts were fighting in the sea, there was a lot of turbulence. Han Sen was sometimes tossed around by the turbulence, and he could not control his body.
Fortunately, he could breathe in the water, so he was not afraid of drowning. It would just take him a little longer.
The lobster dragged the peacock deeper into the sea. The peacock struggled, but it was useless. It was slowly being dragged into the sea by the lobster.
Han Sen chased after the two beasts, and they dove into the sea together. He kept an eye on the situation, hoping to find a chance to attack.
Although the peacock could not swim, it was still very strong. It did not look like it would be killed by the lobster so easily.
